Diselingi cuti setahun karena sempat sakit, akhirnya tinggal menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Kebetulan ada penawaran untuk bekerja pada suatu perusahaan pengembang (PT. Sulanji Graha), yang membangun proyek perumahan (antara lain) di Ngaliyan. Sekitar setahun di sana kemudian pindah ke PT. Damai Putra, group pengembang nasional yang proyeknya di Semarang adalah perumahan Srondol Bumi Indah.
